 Eric Brittingham and Jeff LaBar of the multi-platinum selling band Cinderella joined forces with a new and exciting band, Naked Beggars. The self-titled, debut album soon followed and Naked Beggars took to the road in support of their freshman effort. With the experience and showmanship of both Eric and Jeff, together with the unbridled energy and undeniable talent of the band, Naked Beggars have made an immediate impact trailing ardent new fans in their wake.
Based in Nashville, the band was born a few years earlier by co-founders Inga Brittingham and Kris Casamento. As the pair collaborated, writing material for the debut album, the band evolved into the powerful and dynamic group it is today.
Fronted by Inga Brittingham, who captivates audiences with her energetic performance style and intense vocals, the songs are confidently delivered with a Stones-like swagger. Her ability to deliver a dynamic performance can clearly be heard on songs like "Open Eyes" and "Fallen", while the angst-laden lyrics of "Bitch" illustrates the tenacity of her personality. In a modern musical climate where emphasis is on talent, style and marketability, Inga possesses the entire package.
Together with solid songwriting ability, Kris Casamento adds his own brand of blues-inspired guitar to the band's music. Constantly offering up new material, his style runs the gamut from melodic to raunchy. Soulful and raw, Kris' natural feel adds fluidity to a high-octane performance.
In addition to all of his studio contributions, inspired bass lines, and magnetic stage presence; Eric Brittingham brings his impressive musical resume and overall expertise to the band. Having already staked a claim in the rock-n-roll arena as a co-founder and member of Cinderella, his presence brings added name recognition to Naked Beggars, and the experience garnered from his already proven success.
Jeff LaBar's natural exuberance and well established chemistry with Eric brings the live show to a whole new level. Talent and experience blends his sleazy hard rock riffs and a meaty guitar tone seamlessly into Naked Beggars old school brand of rock.
Playing clubs by the age of 5, doing session work and touring since the age of 15 are just some of the accomplishments drummer Shawn Hughes brings to Naked Beggars. Having played all styles of music gives him unrivaled experience and versatility. This combined with awesome chops, stunning visuals, and fiery drum solos puts the band's live performances over the top.
Rounding out the band is the classically trained pianist and violinist, Kristine Brasuell. Adding dimension and depth to the Naked Beggars style, she also brings prolific songwriting ability and perfectly meshed vocals to the mix.
From clubs, ballrooms, and amphitheatres the buzz follows this band wherever it goes. The fan base continues to grow as the band continues to tour into the fall and winter.
